AMEA Power is developing a 25MW solar project, Djibouti’s first grid-connected solar project, located in Grand Bara. This project, coupled with a 5MWh battery energy storage system, will generate 55GWh of clean electricity annually. The project supports Djibouti’s national strategy to diversify its energy mix and reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels, while strengthening the country’s energy security and sustainability.
