Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

AMEA Power aims to deliver lasting economic, social and environmental benefits to the communities that host our activities.

We are committed to causes aligned with our company’s values and support various educational, health, environmental and social initiatives, as well as local infrastructure development. We aim to operate our business in a socially sustainable manner and employ clear, transparent standards of corporate governance in the selection, execution and management of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes.

CSR Activities – Response to Covid-19

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic was unprecedented in its scale, and while major cities in the countries where we are present were reasonably well equipped to mitigate the spread and the negative impact of the virus, many remote communities in which we operate suffered from the lack of access to essential food and hygiene products. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, AMEA Power delivered essential food and hygiene products to several countries across Africa. We worked closely with our local teams, the local communities and NGOs to reach the ones in need, whilst observing local regulations.
