AMEA POWER AT WORK

Solar Power Plant, Togo

AMEA Power commissioned a 50MW solar power plant in Togo in June 2022. The Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed solar plant was delivered in record time, reaching commercial operation within 18 months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement, in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wind Farm, Jordan

Located in the Tafilah Governorate, the 51.75MW ‘Abour Power Wind Farm’, which has 15 turbines, was awarded under the first round feed-in tariff (FiT). The project has a 20-year offtake from the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) of Jordan. The project became fully operational in July 2021.

Solar Power Plant, Egypt

AMEA Power is constructing a 500MW solar PV project in the Aswan Governate in southern Egypt. Once commissioned, the solar power plant will be the largest solar PV project on a single site in the country. The project reached financial close in late 2022.
